I’m Nick Marcogliese, and I didn’t set out to be a CFO.
I started by managing a $500K investment portfolio — the Tabor Investment Portfolio at Millikin University — thinking like an owner and investor, not just a guy crunching numbers.
Then, tearing my Achilles became a turning point.
It forced me to slow down and rethink what I truly wanted to build.
Rather than sitting at home, I dove into the startup world, working alongside founders and investors inside the Innovate Springfield ecosystem.
